I focus on functional forms with a twist.  Good design and execution are the foundation of a desirable pot.  Building on this, a modern aesthetic with playful details make my pots different.  I find inspiration in nature, exploring the outdoors with my family and dogs; geometric designs also captivate me.  

I want to bring a bit of peace and understated luxury to the users of my pieces.

All of my work is created by me personally in my studio in rural Indiana.  I both throw on the potters wheel and hand build the forms.   Most of my glazes are also made in house, with some commercial glazes used as accents.  

I use glaze resist to create many of my designs, from stripes to birds.
